📝 Instructions

9 steps
1

Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).

2

Place the ham, cut side down, in a large roasting pan. If desired, score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern using a sharp knife.

3

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the honey, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, ground cinnamon, and ground cloves. Stir the mixture until the sugar has dissolved and the glaze is smooth. Remove from heat.

4

Brush half of the glaze generously over the surface of the ham, making sure to get into the scored grooves if applicable.

5

Cover the roasting pan loosely with aluminum foil and bake the ham for 1 hour.

6

Remove the foil and brush the ham with the remaining glaze. If using pineapple rings and maraschino cherries, secure them to the ham with toothpicks.

7

Return the pan to the oven and bake uncovered for an additional 20-30 minutes, or until the glaze is caramelized and the internal temperature of the ham reaches 140°F (60°C).

8

Remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

9

Slice the ham and serve warm, optionally garnished with the baked pineapple and cherries.
