📝 Instructions

8 steps
1

Preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat.

2

Spread 1 tablespoon of fig preserves on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.

3

Cut the brie into thin slices and evenly distribute it over two of the bread slices, on top of the fig preserves.

4

Layer 2 slices of prosciutto on top of the brie on each sandwich and add a handful of arugula.

5

Top the sandwiches with the remaining slices of bread, fig-preserve-side down, to form two sandwiches.

6

Spread 1/2 tablespoon of butter on the outside of each slice of bread (top and bottom of each sandwich).

7

Place the sandwiches in the preheated skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and crisp, and the brie has melted.

8

Carefully remove from the skillet, slice the sandwiches in half, and serve immediately.
