๐Ÿ“ Instructions

10 steps
1

Soak the rice noodles in warm water for 20-30 minutes until softened. Drain and set aside.

2

If using chicken, slice it thinly. If using shrimp, ensure they are peeled and deveined.

3

In a small bowl, mix tamarind paste, fish sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, and chili flakes (if using). Stir well and set aside.

4

Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken or shrimp and cook until fully cooked (chicken should be no longer pink, and shrimp should be opaque). Remove and set aside.

5

In the same wok, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Toss in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

6

Crack the eggs into the wok and scramble them until cooked through.

7

Add the soaked rice noodles to the wok, followed by the tamarind sauce mixture. Toss everything together to coat the noodles evenly.

8

Return the cooked chicken or shrimp to the wok. Add bean sprouts, julienned carrots, and green onions. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until vegetables are just tender.

9

Remove from heat and garnish with crushed peanuts, cilantro, and lime wedges.

10

Serve immediately and enjoy your Golden Dragon Pad Thai!
