πŸ“ Instructions

8 steps
1

Scoop the vanilla ice cream into 4 evenly sized balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and put them in the freezer for at least 1 hour, or until very firm.

2

In a food processor or by hand, crush the cornflakes into fine crumbs. Combine the crushed cornflakes, cinnamon powder, and granulated sugar in a medium bowl. Mix well and set aside.

3

In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until fully combined.

4

Take one frozen ice cream ball from the freezer. Quickly roll it in the cornflake mixture, ensuring it is evenly coated. Then dip it into the egg mixture, and immediately roll it in the cornflake mixture again for a thicker coating. Place it back onto the baking sheet. Repeat for the remaining ice cream balls.

5

Return the coated ice cream balls to the freezer and freeze for an additional 1 hour to ensure they are very firm.

6

In a deep fryer or large heavy-bottomed pot, heat the vegetable oil to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

7

Carefully lower one ice cream ball into the hot oil using a slotted spoon. Fry for only 10-15 seconds, or until the coating is golden brown and crisp. Remove immediately and place on a paper towel-lined plate. Repeat with the remaining balls.

8

Serve the fried ice cream immediately, drizzled with chocolate sauce, topped with whipped cream, and garnished with a cherry.
