Perfect as an appetizer, party snack, or side dish, these cheddar twists are sure to impress with minimal effort. Serve them warm, and watch them disappear in seconds!
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into four rectangles by pressing the diagonal perforations in the dough together to seal them.
Brush each rectangle lightly with melted butter, reserving some for later brushing.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over two of the rectangles, then top each with the remaining rectangles to form two cheese-filled layers.
Cut each layered rectangle into four equal strips, for a total of 8 strips.
Gently twist each strip several times and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, mix the remaining melted butter with garlic powder, parsley, and sea salt. Brush this mixture over the top of each twist.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the twists are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
