📝 Instructions

10 steps
1

Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).

2

Place the ham in a roasting pan, flat side down. Score the surface of the ham in a crisscross pattern, cutting about 1/4 inch deep.

3

In a medium saucepan, combine apple juice, orange juice, brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, ground cinnamon, cloves, and orange zest. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat.

4

Brush about 1/3 of the glaze over the ham, ensuring it gets into the scored grooves.

5

Loosely cover the ham with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1.5 hours.

6

Remove the ham from the oven, uncover, and brush another 1/3 of the glaze over the surface.

7

Decoratively arrange the apple and orange slices around the ham in the roasting pan.

8

Return the ham to the oven, uncovered, and bake for another 30 minutes, basting with the remaining glaze every 10 minutes.

9

Once done, the ham should have a shiny, caramelized coating. A meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the ham should read 140°F (60°C).

10

Remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with apple and orange slices as garnish.
