📝 Instructions

10 steps
1

To make the wonton filling, mix ground pork, 1 tbsp soy sauce, salt, and white pepper in a bowl. Combine well.

2

Place about 1 teaspoon of pork mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper. Wet the edges with a little water and fold to seal, making sure there is no air inside.

3

Bring a pot of water to a boil, add a pinch of salt and cook the wontons for about 4 minutes or until they float to the surface. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.

4

Blanch the choi sum in the same boiling water for about 1-2 minutes until wilted, then remove and set aside.

5

Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain well, rinse under cold water, and set aside.

6

In a small pan, heat vegetable oil and sauté chopped garlic until golden brown. Add 3 tbsp soy sauce, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and mix well to create the sauce.

7

In a mixing bowl, combine cooked noodles with the sauce, making sure the noodles are well coated.

8

Slice the char siu into thin pieces.

9

To serve, place the sauced noodles in a bowl, top with char siu slices, blanched choi sum, and a few wontons.

10

Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve with a side of chicken broth.
