πŸ“ Instructions

12 steps
1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt. Mix the dry ingredients thoroughly.

2

In a separate container, mix the warm water and olive oil. Slowly add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until a rough dough begins to form.

3

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. If the dough is sticky, add a little more flour, one tablespoon at a time.

4

Place the kneaded dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm, draft-free area for about 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.

5

Once the dough has risen, punch it down gently and turn it out onto a floured surface.

6

Roll the dough into a rough rectangle, approximately 15x9 inches. Sprinkle the dried oregano, dried basil, dried thyme, garlic powder, and vegan shredded cheese evenly over the surface of the dough.

7

Starting from one of the longer sides, roll the dough into a log, pinching the seam gently to seal it.

8

Place the rolled dough seam-side down into a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan. Cover with a cloth and let it rise for another 30 minutes.

9

While the loaf is rising a second time, preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

10

Once risen, place the loaf in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.

11

Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

12

Slice and serve as desired!
