Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides to help remove the treats later.
In a large saucepan, melt the vegan butter over low heat.
Add the vegan marshmallows to the saucepan, stirring continuously until fully melted and smooth. This should take about 5-7 minutes.
Once melted, remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
Quickly add the crispy rice cereal to the marshmallow mixture, and gently fold the cereal in until it's completely coated.
