📝 Instructions

11 steps
1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

3

Add ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking up the meat into small pieces as it cooks.

4

Stir in the tomato paste until evenly combined. Then add the crushed tomatoes, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer the sauce for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

5

In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta cheese and egg. Mix until smooth.

6

Spread 1/3 of the turkey sauce onto the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Start layering by laying 3 lasagna noodles on top of the sauce.

7

Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, followed by 1/3 of the cranberry sauce, 1/3 of the shredded mozzarella, and a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese.

8

Repeat the layering process with another 1/3 of the turkey sauce, 3 more noodles, the remaining ricotta mixture, another 1/3 of the cranberry sauce, 1/3 of the mozzarella, and more Parmesan cheese.

9

Finish with the final layer of 3 noodles, the remaining turkey sauce, cranberry sauce, shredded mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.

10

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes until the top is bubbly and lightly golden.

11

Allow the lasagna to rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired, and serve warm.
