Peel and quarter the onion, peel the garlic cloves, and slice the ginger into small pieces.
Add the onion, garlic, and ginger into the Thermomix bowl. Chop for 5 seconds on Speed 5. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
Add the olive oil to the Thermomix bowl. Sauté for 3 minutes at 120°C on Speed 1.
