πŸ“ Instructions

9 steps
1

Peel the carrot and cut it into 18 thin round slices, each about 1/8-inch thick. These will serve as the penguin feet.

2

Cut a small triangle wedge from each carrot slice to create a V-shape that looks like penguin feet. Save the small triangle pieces to use as penguin beaks.

3

Take the large black olives, and using a sharp knife, carefully cut a vertical slit along one side of each olive to create a hollow cavity.

4

Fill a piping bag or small plastic sandwich bag with cream cheese and cut a tiny hole in one corner. Pipe the cream cheese into the slit of each large black olive to create the penguin’s white belly.

5

Insert the small carrot triangles created earlier into the small black olives to serve as penguin beaks. Push the triangles into the olive holes carefully to secure them.

6

Assemble the penguins by stacking components together: Place a carrot slice (feet) on the bottom, a cream cheese-filled large olive (body) on top, and finally, a small black olive with a carrot triangle (head) on top.

7

Secure the stacked penguin with a toothpick, piercing from the top of the small olive all the way down to the carrot slice.

8

Repeat the assembly process for all 18 penguins.

9

Arrange the Perky Penguins on a serving platter and refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy their adorable charm and delicious flavor!
