Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease and line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang to easily lift out the bars later.
In a medium bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Cut in the butter using a pastry cutter or your hands until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
