πŸ“ Instructions

6 steps
1

Carefully separate 12 cabbage leaves from the head of green cabbage. Trim the thick part of the stem on each leaf to make them easier to roll.

2

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Blanch the cabbage leaves for 1-2 minutes until softened. Remove and place them on a clean kitchen towel or paper towels to drain.

3

In a medium bowl, combine the ground chicken or turkey, grated carrot, minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, cooked rice (if using), green onions, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until evenly incorporated.

4

Take one cabbage leaf and place 1-2 tablespoons of the filling near the base of the leaf. Roll the leaf tightly, tucking in the sides as you roll. Repeat the process with the remaining leaves and filling.

5

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of water. Arrange the cabbage rolls seam side down in the skillet. Cover and let them steam for 10-12 minutes, turning them gently halfway through, until the filling is cooked through.

6

Serve the mini cabbage wraps warm with your favorite dipping sauce, such as soy sauce or a spicy chili sauce.
