📝 Instructions

12 steps
1

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2

In a skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent.

3

Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook until browned.

4

Grate the zucchini and dice the bell pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for another 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

5

Season the mixture with salt, black pepper, oregano, and paprika. Stir well, then remove from heat and let cool.

6

In a large bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, and 2 beaten eggs. Mix until a dough forms.

7

Melt the butter and let it cool, then add it to the dough along with shredded mozzarella cheese. Mix until fully incorporated.

8

Divide the dough into 4 equal portions, and roll each one between two sheets of parchment paper to form discs about 15cm in diameter.

9

Place a quarter of the beef mixture onto one side of each dough disc, then fold over to form a semi-circle and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.

10

Beat the remaining egg and brush over each pastie to help them brown while baking.

11

Transfer the pasties onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.

12

Let the pasties cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
