Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.
Add the chicken broth, sliced carrots, sliced celery, diced onion, minced garlic, dried thyme, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper on top of the chicken.
Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
Remove the cooked chicken from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks. Set the shredded chicken aside.
Add the egg noodles to the slow cooker and stir to combine. Cover and cook for an additional 20-25 minutes on high until the noodles are tender.
Once the noodles are cooked, stir in the shredded chicken, heavy cream, and unsalted butter. Let it warm through for 5-10 minutes.
Taste the soup and adjust seasoning if needed. Add more salt and pepper to taste, if desired.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh chopped parsley if desired. Enjoy your Lazy Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup!
