📝 Instructions

8 steps
1

Cut the paneer into cubes. Heat 1 tbsp of ghee in a large pan over medium heat and lightly fry the paneer cubes until golden on all sides. Remove from pan and set aside.

2

In the same pan, add 2 tbsp of ghee and add the cumin seeds. Once they start to splutter, add chopped onion, garlic, ginger, and green chilies. Sauté until the onions are golden brown.

3

Add the coriander powder, garam masala, and turmeric powder to the pan. Stir and cook for another minute until the spices are fragrant.

4

Add the spinach to the pan along with 1 cup of water and salt. Cover and let it cook for about 10 minutes or until the spinach is completely wilted.

5

Transfer the spinach mixture to a blender and puree until smooth. Use caution while blending as the mixture will be hot.

6

Return the spinach puree to the pan over medium heat. Add the fried paneer cubes and the heavy cream. Mix well and simmer for another 10 minutes.

7

Adjust the salt if necessary and stir in the lemon juice. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

8

Serve hot, garnished with additional cream or paneer crumbles if desired.
