The broiling technique ensures a golden, lightly crisped finish while locking in moisture, delivering restaurant-quality results in just 8 minutes. Ideal for a romantic dinner or a special occasion, this recipe is as easy to prepare as it is impressive. Garnished with fresh parsley and served with a squeeze of lemon, these broiled lobster tails are a decadent treat you'll want to savor.
Preheat your oven broiler to high and position the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source.
Using kitchen shears, cut through the top of each lobster shell lengthwise, stopping just before the tail fin.
Carefully pry the shells apart and gently lift the lobster meat, resting it on top of the shell without detaching it completely.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper until combined. Remove from heat.
Brush the prepared lobster meat generously with the seasoned butter mixture, reserving a little for basting during cooking.
Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with foil, meat side up.
Broil the lobster tails for 6-8 minutes, basting once with the remaining butter mixture, until the meat is opaque and lightly golden on top. The internal temperature should reach 140°F (60°C).
Remove the lobster tails from the broiler and let them rest for 2 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately, optionally with lemon wedges on the side.
