Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a donut pan with non-stick spray or cooking oil.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the whey protein powder, all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and granulated sugar. Whisk together until evenly mixed.
In another bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, unsweetened almond milk, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Avoid over-mixing, as this will result in tough donuts.
Crush 4 Oreo cookies into small pieces and fold them gently into the batter.
Transfer the batter into a piping bag or a ziplock bag with the corner cut off, and pipe the batter evenly into the prepared donut pan, filling each mold about 3/4 full.
Crush the remaining 2 Oreo cookies and sprinkle the crumbs over the batter in the donut pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of one of the donuts comes out clean.
While the donuts are baking, melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl using 30-second intervals, stirring in between each interval until smooth.
Once the donuts are done, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Drizzle or dip the top of each donut with the melted dark chocolate and let it set.
Enjoy these high protein Oreo donuts as a delicious treat or snack!
