Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
Trim the tough ends off the asparagus spears and set them aside.
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and blanch the asparagus for 2-3 minutes until they are bright green and slightly tender. Drain and immediately transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Drain again and pat dry with a kitchen towel.
Lay a slice of ham flat on a clean surface. Spread about 2 teaspoons of cream cheese evenly across the slice of ham.
Place two asparagus spears at one end of the ham slice and gently roll it up, securing them in place. Repeat with the remaining ham slices and asparagus.
Arrange the roll-ups seam-side down in a greased baking dish. Drizzle them with olive oil and sprinkle garlic powder and black pepper evenly over the top.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the roll-ups, making sure to cover them evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the roll-ups are heated through.
Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly for 2-3 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
Serve warm as a delightful appetizer or side dish!
