Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the gnocchi according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.

While the gnocchi is cooking, prepare the chicken by patting the breasts dry. Season both sides of the chicken with 0.5 tsp salt and 0.25 tsp black pepper.

In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F). Return the sliced chicken and cooked gnocchi to the skillet, tossing gently to coat everything in the creamy sauce. Add 0.25 tsp of red pepper flakes, if using, for a touch of heat.
