14 steps
1

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

2

Slice the tomato into thin rounds and wash the lettuce leaves. Set aside.

3

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

4

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

5

Cook the chicken breasts for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and no longer pink in the center. Remove from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add the bacon slices and cook until crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

7

Butter the inside of the gluten-free buns and place them on a baking sheet, cut side up.

8

Place one slice of cheese on the bottom half of each bun.

9

Slice the cooked chicken breasts into thin strips and lay them over the cheese.

10

Top the chicken with another slice of cheese and two slices of crispy bacon.

11

Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

12

Remove from the oven and assemble the melts by adding tomato slices and lettuce on top of the bacon.

13

Top with the other half of the buns.

14

Serve immediately while hot and enjoy your Gluten-Free Chicken Melt.
