📝 Instructions

12 steps
1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with olive oil and set aside.

2

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the penne, rigatoni, farfalle, and elbow macaroni together until al dente, following the shortest cooking time for the pastas. Drain and set aside.

3

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.

4

Add the onion and garlic to the skillet, cooking until the onion is soft and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.

5

Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Lower the heat to medium-low and let simmer for 10 minutes.

6

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta with the beef and tomato sauce mixture. Stir until thoroughly coated.

7

Spread half of the pasta mixture into the prepared baking dish. Spread the ricotta cheese evenly over the top.

8

Layer 1 cup of grated mozzarella cheese on top of the ricotta layer. Add the remaining pasta mixture on top.

9

Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.

10

Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.

11

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.

12

Garnish the baked pasta with chopped parsley before serving. Serve hot and enjoy!
