📝 Instructions

11 steps
1

Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water. Bring the water to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the eggs simmer for 10 minutes.

2

After boiling, transfer the eggs to a bowl filled with ice water to cool for about 10 minutes. Peel the eggs carefully.

3

Using a knife, slice a small piece off the bottom of each egg so it can sit flat without rolling.

4

Cut the cheddar cheese into small triangular shapes to resemble ears. Each egg will need two cheese triangles.

5

Slice the radishes into thin round slices, then cut them in half to resemble mouse tails. Each egg will need one radish tail.

6

Slice the black olives into small pieces to create tiny eyes and noses for the mice.

7

Use the tip of a sharp knife to make small slits on the top of each egg for the ears. Gently insert the cheese triangles into the slits.

8

Make another small cut on the back of each egg and insert the radish slice into it to create the tail.

9

Press two black peppercorns into the front of each egg to create eyes. Attach an olive piece below the eyes to resemble the nose.

10

Trim the fresh chives into short lengths and position them as whiskers near the olive nose. Use a toothpick to create small holes if needed.

11

Arrange the egg mice on a serving plate and enjoy the adorable presentation!
