Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain any excess grease.
Add the marinara sauce to the skillet with the cooked ground beef and stir to combine. Remove from heat.
In a medium bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Spread 1/2 cup of the meat sauce evenly over the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Place 3 no-boil lasagna noodles on top of the sauce, slightly overlapping if needed.
Spread 1/3 of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, followed by 1 cup of the meat sauce. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese over the top.
Repeat the layering process (noodles, ricotta mixture, meat sauce, mozzarella cheese) two more times, ending with the meat sauce on the top layer.
Pour 1/2 cup of water around the edges of the lasagna to help cook the noodles.
Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
Remove the foil and sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese evenly on top. Bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
