📝 Instructions

11 steps
1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch (23cm) pie dish with a little olive oil or butter and set aside.

2

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti until al dente, according to the package instructions. Drain and drizzle with olive oil to prevent sticking. Set aside to cool slightly.

3

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, Parmesan cheese, and 60ml of the whole milk. Add the cooked spaghetti to the bowl and toss until fully coated.

4

In a medium frying pan over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the onion until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

5

Add the ground Italian sausage to the pan. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Stir in the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

6

In another bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, remaining 60ml of milk, and half of the shredded mozzarella cheese.

7

To assemble the pie, place the spaghetti mixture into the greased pie dish, pressing it into an even layer to form a 'crust.' Spread the ricotta cheese mixture evenly over the spaghetti crust.

8

Pour the sausage marinara sauce over the ricotta layer, spreading it out evenly.

9

Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the top.

10

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

11

Allow the spaghetti pie to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
