Rinse the quinoa under cold water for about 30 seconds to remove any bitterness.
In a small saucepan, combine the rinsed quinoa and 150 milliliters of water. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce the heat to a simmer. Cook for 12-15 minutes until the quinoa is tender and the water is fully absorbed. Set aside to cool.
While the quinoa is cooking, cut the chicken breast into small cubes to ensure even cooking.
In a separate saucepan, bring 150 milliliters of water to a boil. Add the chicken breast cubes and cook for 8-10 minutes until fully cooked and no longer pink. Remove the chicken and let it cool slightly.
In the same saucepan (using the leftover liquid from cooking the chicken), add the frozen peas. Cook for 3-5 minutes until soft and tender, then drain the peas.
Combine the cooked chicken, peas, cooked quinoa, and olive oil in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth, adding small amounts of water (reserved from the chicken cooking liquid or plain water) as needed to achieve the desired consistency.
Allow the puree to cool completely before serving. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze in baby food storage trays for later use.
