📝 Instructions

9 steps
1

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and set it aside. Drain the pasta and set it aside.

2

Blanch the broccoli florets in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until tender but still crisp. Drain and set aside.

3

In a medium bowl, toss the shrimp with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Dredge the seasoned shrimp in flour, shaking off any excess.

4

Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the shrimp in batches, cooking for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Set aside.

5

Wipe the skillet clean and heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

6

Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.

7

Stir in the Parmesan cheese and lemon juice, whisking until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.

8

Add the cooked pasta, broccoli, and cherry tomatoes to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat evenly. If the sauce is too thick, add the reserved pasta water a little at a time until the desired consistency is reached.

9

Plate the pasta and top with the crispy shrimp. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve immediately. Enjoy your Bistro Shrimp Pasta!
