πŸ“ Instructions

9 steps
1

Preheat your oven to 200Β°C (400Β°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground pork until browned and fully cooked. Remove any excess fat from the pan.

3

Add the grated carrot, shredded cabbage, chopped green onions, minced garlic, and grated ginger to the skillet. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are softened.

4

Stir in the soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well, and then remove from heat. Allow the filling to cool slightly.

5

Lay a spring roll wrapper flat on a clean surface. Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling near one corner of the wrapper.

6

Fold the bottom corner of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll it up tightly. Brush a small amount of the beaten egg along the edge to seal the roll. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

7

Place the spring rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly spray the tops of the rolls with cooking spray to encourage crisping.

8

Bake the spring rolls in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and the wrappers are crispy, turning them halfway through for even cooking.

9

Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce, such as sweet chili sauce or soy-based dipping sauce.
