Ingredients

  • 4 cups Water
  • 4 pieces Black tea bags
  • 2 cups Apple juice
  • 3 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 piece Cinnamon stick
  • 3 pieces Cloves
  • 1 piece Star anise
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 0.5 cup Apple slices (for garnish)
  • 2 cups Ice cubes

Directions

Step 1

In a medium-sized saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium heat.

Step 2

Once the water starts boiling, add the cinnamon stick, cloves, and star anise. Reduce the heat to low and let the spices simmer for 5 minutes to release their flavors.

Step 3

Turn off the heat and immediately add the black tea bags to the saucepan. Allow the tea to steep with the spices for 5 minutes.

Remove the tea bags and strain the liquid to remove the spices. Pour the strained liquid into a heatproof pitcher.
