Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cups brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 units large eggs
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or sour cream)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (for optional dusting)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch bundt pan thoroughly and lightly dust it with flour. Set aside.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

Step 3

In a separate medium-sized bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, Greek yogurt (or sour cream), and vanilla extract.

Step 4

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the bowl of dry ingredients. Stir until just combined to form a smooth batter. Avoid overmixing.

Step 5

Fold in 1 cup of the mini chocolate chips gently, reserving the remaining 0.5 cups for topping.

Step 6

Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan, smoothing the surface with a spatula. Sprinkle the remaining mini chocolate chips over the top of the batter.

Step 7

Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the cake comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.

Step 8

Remove the bundt pan from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes. Then carefully invert the cake onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Step 9

Once the cake is fully cooled, dust the top with powdered sugar if desired. Slice and serve!
